What is your standard cancellation policy, and what are the Enhanced Refund Terms?

1. Our Standard Cancellation Policy

If you choose not to purchase the optional Enhanced Refund Terms (ERT) during checkout, the following policy applies:

  • Full Refund (100%): If you cancel your tour 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time, you will receive a 100% refund of your booking price.
  • No Refund (0%): Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation by Scenic Zest: If we must cancel a tour (e.g., due to severe weather or safety concerns), you will be offered a 100% full refund or the option to reschedule.

Note: All standard refunds are managed, resolved, and processed directly by Scenic Zest.


2. Enhanced Refund Terms (ERT) Upgrade

If you purchase the optional Enhanced Refund Terms during checkout, your refund policy is upgraded to cover a wide range of unforeseen circumstances outside of your control.

How the Enhanced Terms Work:

  • Cost: 8% of the total booking value, added as an optional extra during checkout.
  • Coverage: These terms cover many situations (illness, transport failure, etc.) that would otherwise fall under our “No Refund” policy.
  • Refund Process: The refunds are administered and processed entirely by Protect Group. You simply sit back and let them handle the claim.
  • Refund Amount: You can apply for a 100% refund up to the date of the tour or for up to 60 days afterwards.
