Does this tour include inside access to Notre Dame Cathedral?
Every tour includes a comprehensive exterior walking tour where your guide will bring the history, legends, and mysteries of the cathedral to life.
- Going Inside: Entrance to the interior is completely free to the public. You can visit independently after our tour concludes (lines typically take 15–30 minutes).
- Important: Please do not pay anyone for entrance tickets to the Cathedral; it is always free.
Does this tour include Sainte-Chapelle?
Yes, if you choose it! When booking, please ensure you select the “with Sainte-Chapelle“ option.
Note: The interior visit to Sainte-Chapelle is self-guided to allow you to admire the stained glass at your own pace.
How it works: Your guide will provide the historical context outside, then escort you to the entrance and ensure you get in smoothly.
How many people will be in our group?
None! This is a 100% private tour. It will be exclusively you, your guests, and your personal guide. This allows for a more intimate experience where you can ask questions and move at your own pace.
Do we get “Skip-the-Line” access to Sainte-Chapelle?
While “Skip-the-Line” is no longer the official term used by French monuments, our tickets provide Priority Timed Entry. This means you have a reserved slot and will enter much faster than the general public queue, avoiding hours of waiting.
Can we take our tickets and visit the Crypt or Sainte-Chapelle first?
To give you the best experience, the Notre Dame guided tour is the foundation of the visit. The storytelling leads up to the monuments. Therefore, your guide will hand over the tickets and escort you to your chosen monument (Crypt or Sainte-Chapelle) only after the walking tour concludes.
What happens if we arrive late?
Since this is a private tour with a scheduled guide and timed tickets, punctuality is important.
The Scenic Zest Promise: We value you! If you miss your slot, we will try our best to fit you into a later outdoor group (subject to availability), though we unfortunately cannot reschedule the Sainte-Chapelle portion.
Grace Period: We usually offer a 15-minute grace period.
The Policy: After 15 minutes, we may have to mark the booking as a “no-show” as tickets are non-refundable and guides have other commitments.
